In January 2025, Newton DAO, a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) composed of all NEW token holders, was officially established. This marked a significant milestone in the evolution of the Newton Project, signaling its transition into a fully decentralized phase with no centralized "project team" remaining.

Through collective discussions and decision-making by Newton DAO, it was agreed that the project’s future focus will shift towards building infrastructure for heterogeneous blockchains and assets. The goal is to integrate technology with assets, enabling the creation of diverse and innovative applications that drive the ecosystem forward.

To align with this new strategic direction, Newton DAO has been renamed AB DAO, reflecting the organization’s commitment to this vision. This rebranding represents a fresh start for the project and its community.
